ArmInfo. On April 17, the Government of Armenia approved the legislative initiative of Babken Tunyan, a member of the NA ruling factiony and deputy head of the parliamentary committee on economic issues, which envisages postponing the deadline for filing tax declarations.
The deadline for filing the General Declaration of Income has been moved from May 1 to November 1 for those who are filing a declaration this year (for income earned in 2024). Those who are required to file a declaration next year (for income earned in 2025) can do so from March 2 to November 1. For the following years, the deadline for filing a declaration will be set from March 2 to July 1. As Tunyan previously stated, the reason for the deadline extension is related to issues with ID cards. The process of obtaining ID cards has led to long queues, and without them it is impossible to complete income tax returns.
