Kesari 2 box office collection day 11: Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan and Ananya Panday-starrer Kesari: Chapter 2 has been showing constant growth in its earnings, since it started picking up on its second weekend. The film opened to positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience. While on Sunday, it minted Rs 8.15 crore, second Monday started slow with Rs 3 crore. Kesari 2 is set to become Akshay’s second highest-grossing Indian film of 2025, after Sky Force alongside Veer Pahariya.

According to the industry tracker Sacnilk, the film’s nett domestic collection now stands at Rs 68.5 crore. As per the makers Dharma Production, the film has joined the Rs 100 crore club in the global market. In 2025, only four films have managed to enter the Rs 100 crore party, including Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava, Sikandar, Sky Force, and Jaat. With the positive response and great word of mouth, Kesari 2 will soon beat the lifetime collections of Salman Khan’s Sikandar. On Monday, the film recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 11.19% – with morning and afternoon shows at 5.84% and 10.28%, respectively, and an increase in the evening and night shows, reaching 11.38% and 17.25%.

Kesari Chapter 2 is facing tough competition from Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda’s Jaat, with Emraan Hashmi’s release Ground Zero struggling between both the films. In the coming week, all the three movies will clash with Rajkumar Gupta’s Raid 2, starring Ajay Devgn, Vaani Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, and Saurabh Shukla, set to release on May 1. Jaat and Ground Zero couldn’t even collect Rs 1 crore, with Jaat earning only Rs 62 lakh, while Ground Zero only minted Rs. 70 lakh on Monday.

Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, Kesari Chapter 2 also features Regina Cassandra, Amit Sial, Simon Paisley Day and Alexx O’Nell in pivotal roles. The film showcases the aftermath of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in a historical courtroom drama. It has been produced by Dharma Productions, Leo Media Collective, and Cape of Good Films.
